What Is a Ceramic Coating?
It's a liquid that cures into a hard, clear layer on top of your paint. Bonds to the clear coat. Water beads off, UV and chemicals can't eat through it, and the gloss stays deep for years instead of weeks. Wax sits on top and washes away. A coating actually sticks.

Shield is made in Raleigh, NC. We went to the factory, talked with the people who make it, and took their application class. Then we spent months testing it on our own vehicles before we ever put it on a customer's car. We had to be sure it held up.
Shield comes in 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year options. The longer coatings need paint correction first — that means we polish out swirls, water spots, and scratches before the coating goes on. You don't want to seal in imperfections. After correction, the coating bonds to a clean, smooth surface.

Monthly Coating Maintenance
