Acceptance of terms

When you book an appointment or use any service from Discount Detailing, LLC, you are agreeing to these terms. You need to be at least 18 to book or authorize work on a vehicle. If you do not agree, please do not book with us.

What we do (and do not do)

Discount Detailing, LLC is a cosmetic detailing business. We clean, correct, and protect surfaces. We do not do mechanical work, bodywork, or paint repair outside of what is listed in our service packages. Every vehicle is different, so results will vary depending on its age and condition. You will always get a quote before we start, and pricing may adjust based on vehicle size or how much work it needs.

Booking and cancellations

Everything is by appointment. If you need to cancel or reschedule, give us at least 24 hours notice. Cancel with less than 24 hours notice or no-show, and you may be charged up to 50% of the scheduled service price.

Online booking runs through Urable, a separate scheduling platform. Their own terms and privacy policy apply there. If the booking system goes down or has a glitch, that is on their end, not ours.

Before your appointment

Clear out your vehicle before we arrive. That means personal items, car seats, valuables, anything in the console, glove box, or trunk. We are not responsible for belongings left inside. If something is in the way, we may skip that area rather than move it ourselves.

Vehicle condition

Before we start, we do a walk-around and may take photos of your vehicle's current condition. Any damage we note during that inspection is on the record before we touch anything. If there is something you are worried about, point it out before we begin.

Liability

We are careful with every vehicle. But we are not liable for pre-existing damage, paint defects, clear coat failure, or anything that was not visible before we started. We are licensed and insured.

If something does go wrong, our liability is capped at what you paid for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Ceramic coatings

How a ceramic coating turns out depends on the condition of your paint when we apply it. If your paint has existing defects, we will not guarantee those go away unless paint correction is part of your package. Coatings also need proper aftercare. Skip the maintenance steps we give you and it can void the warranty. Cure times and performance can shift with temperature and humidity.

Boats and marine work

Boats are a different animal. Hull condition, gelcoat age, sun damage, salt exposure — all of that affects what we can do. We are not responsible for oxidation, gelcoat failure, or wear that was already there before we showed up. If you are having us work on your boat, make sure we can get to it safely.

Warranties

Some services come with a written warranty, like our ceramic coating packages. Outside of those, work is provided as-is once completed. To the extent North Carolina law allows, we disclaim implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Payment

Pay when the job is done. We take cash, cards, and digital payments.

Photos and portfolio

We like to photograph our finished work for our website, social media, and portfolio. If you would rather we not photograph your vehicle, just tell us before or during the appointment.

If something goes wrong

Not happy with a service? Contact us within 7 days at info@discountdetailingllc.com or call (252) 578-8221. We will do our best to make it right, and that may mean re-doing the work at no extra charge. If it goes beyond that, any legal dispute will be handled in the courts of Halifax County, North Carolina.

Weather

If the weather is not cooperating, we may need to reschedule. No penalty for either side.

Governing law

These terms are governed by North Carolina law.

Severability

If a court throws out one part of these terms, the rest still stand.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, the new version goes up here with a fresh date.
